EFA POSITIONING
ON ECODESIGN FOR SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS REGULATION

The European Fashion Alliance (EFA), founded in 2022, is a membership based alliance gathering
international fashion and textile organizations. It advocates for and aims at accelerating the transition of European fashion towards a more sustainable, innovative, inclusive and creative future. EFA represents the creativity-driven fashion industry and aims at promoting and protecting the specificities and values of this sector : creativity and know-how displayed in every product, local production and promote new business models that support reduction of volumes and drive circularity practices.

While EFA supports the objectives set by the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation proposal, we would like to raise attention on the following elements, which are key to the members and industry we represent.
